Photography is my passion

Thanks for joining me!

Here we go on a ride together where I will share my photography journey and adventures along the way. The path has many detours, twists and turns, many ups and downs and curveballs, that’s what makes life interesting. I have learned so much and continue to be a lifelong learner. Let’s do this!

Many thanks to my BFF, and fellow photographer Liz Hemmings – for your patience, encouragement and support; for the discussions and answers to my persistent questions; for the laughter and adventures along the way; for taking photos of me – taking photos, and most of all, for believing in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself. I am eternally grateful.

Much gratitude also for my first photography lecturer Douglas Holleley, for your kindness and encouragement. Your words still echo in my ears as I continue along my path, I hope I am worthy.

To my long suffering husband Brad Walker, who often journeys with me camera in hand (who also takes photos of me) as well as supporting all my other adventures alone or with others; I would not be the person I am without you, thank you for hanging in there. I look forward learning and growing together.

There are of course many more significant and influential people in this journey, but you will have to wait for their chapters to learn more, all in good time – can’t give away all the plot twists in the opening scenes.
